Say what you will about Peggy Porschen being a cliche blogger spot since its rise in popularity over the years, but you can’t deny that it’s not London’s prettiest, pinkest cake parlour, and with Valentine’s Day right around the corner I couldn’t think of a more perfect place to celebrate!
I had to take a little visit to see what the Valentine’s theme had in store for the shop’s display, and it did not disappoint. Hearts, flowers and romantic things are everything I adore and were brought to life at the parlour. A delicate floral heart garland with whites and soft pinks framed the entrance, sparkly heart wreaths were hung upon the doors and windows, and peeking through were pretty pink plant pots with white, Alice in Wonderland style, heart shaped rose plants.
Heart shaped cookies stocked their shelves, each with a pretty design ranging from confetti sprinkles, to stripes to mini hearts. The Crush On You gift box caught my eye, with candy coloured cookies adorned with cute messages, all tucked inside a pastel pink window box and tied with a signature pink satin ribbon. Adorable!
In true Peggy style, the hot drinks had an array of seasonal designs sprinkled over them. We had indulgent hot chocolates with little hearts and an XO sitting on top, and mini marshmallows on the side.
When we visited, their Valentine’s cakes hadn’t made it to the parlour yet, so instead we chose the Glorious Victoria cake and Strawberry and Champagne cupcake which were just as lovely. If you do pay a visit over Valentine’s then definitely try a slice of the limited edition Fluttering Hearts cake as it looks adorable!
I visited early on in the day, so I had time to snap away without a ton of bystanders thinking I’m a weirdo (trust me, it happens on the regular…) but when doorways are this cute, it would be rude not to snap a photo right?! Definitely wishing this was the front door of my house!

I visited Peggy Porschen for the first time last December and I loved it! Their cakes are incredible and everything is too pretty, so of course we have to take photos! I still can’t believe that we’re now in 2018 and people STILL find it weird that other’s take photos and videos.. It baffles me haha! Your photos are gorgeous Catherine 🙂 xo
