The Magic Dew Of Youth & Luminosity In A Jar
Ohh just me again confessing my love for yet another Charlotte Tilbury product, you know how it is! As you may know, I’ve been a long time lover of the cult classic Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream for well over a year now, and I thought it was high time for me to write a full blog post (*cough* ~ love letter) on why I adore it, and perhaps you’ll fall for it too!
There’s no denying the fact that the presentation of the product is pure princessy perfection. It’s elegant and luxurious from the soft pink packaging with gold scripted writing, to the weighty rose-gold lidded jar itself. I keep mine out on my dressing table and it makes me feel like a classic Hollywood film star! I also can’t bring myself to throw the pretty box away but hey that’s just me being a packaging hoarder, and I totally wouldn’t blame you if you kept hold of yours too…
You may be wondering what exactly makes Charlotte’s Magic Cream ‘magic’? Well for me it’s an absolute dream cream. It’s a super nourishing moisturiser, packed full of amazing ingredients, and provides an instant boost for dull and dehydrated skin. It gives the skin a gorgeous luminosity and fullness, and I can totally understand why Charlotte named it her Magic Cream, because it really is just that. The texture of it is like pure buttery heaven that just oozes with luxuriousness and melts into the skin. Even though it is rich, it still sinks in quickly whilst leaving your skin looking fresh, illuminated and utterly fabulous. I love using it just before I apply my makeup as it preps the skin perfectly and creates a lovely canvas for base products to sit upon.
The indulgent cream is undeniably a high end product, which is also reflected in it’s steep price. For me it’s a luxury treat and it’s safe to say I’ll be pretty heartbroken when I finish it, although luckily you don’t need to use a great deal of it as a little really will go a long way.
You can get a 15ml travel sized jar of the Magic Cream here, as well as in gift sets like The Gift Of Red Carpet Skin and The Gift Of Goddess Skin, which are really good if you’d like to try a few products but don’t want to fork out for the full sizes just yet. I had three travel sized jars last me over a year and it was only when my last one ran out that I decided to spurge on the full size.
So if you’ve been wondering if Charlotte’s Magic Cream lives up to it’s name, then I would of course say yes yes yes! I know that skincare is completely personal to the individual, but for me it’s like total stardust. Treat your skin to a little bit of luxury with the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream here.
