London’s prettiest pink cake parlour; Peggy Porschen, recently expanded with a brand new sugar coated patisserie in the heart of Chelsea. As a lover of the original cafe in Belgravia, I was excited to see what this one would present especially after seeing glimpses of it come to life online. I was finally able to pay it a visit last month and I was totally mesmerised with it’s beauty!
The Kings Road café shares a similar beautiful pink exterior as the original yet it has a whole world of more pink prettiness awaiting on the inside. You’ll feel like you’ve stepped into a fairytale dream full of fanciful decor, delicate florals and the cutest array of sweet treats you ever did see. Upon my visit, the parlour was dressed for Summer with an abundance of beautiful cascading blooms (that remind me of a little of truffula trees!) and wicker baskets laden with chiffon pink roses.
Peggy’s vision for the flagship parlour has truly come to life in the most beautiful of ways. Every little detail has been dreamt into a sight of pure perfection, making it utterly picture perfect, so it’s only natural if you get a little camera happy like myself! Inside the main café area are rows of dreamy pink terrazzo tables and a large luxurious glass patisserie counter filled with delectable treats. I adore the little pastel pendant lights and the dainty white spherical details across the shelving units, which gives a really cute vintage candy store look.
The Lounge & Salon areas are beautifully decorated with pretty pink sofas and teal chairs, elegant mirrored wall panels and whimsical fanned lights, I love the mix of cute, feminine decor combined with stylish modern pieces. Kerrie Hess, one of my favourite fashion illustrators, designed an exclusive charming pink peony wall art backdrop, which looks so picturesque and compliments the style of the parlour beautifully.
The parlour’s seasonal Summer menu was in full bloom with their Summer Berries & Fleurs collection embellished with edible blooms & berries. I tried the Eton Mess & Fleurs cupcake which was a lovely take on the traditional strawberries and cream flavour, and our hot drinks came dressed with little floating clouds sitting on top which I think is probably the cutest thing I’ve ever seen.
The Summer confectionery ranged from lemon and lavender flavoured iced cookies adorned with pretty petals, to raspberry & rose chocolate shards and perfectly presented mini meringue kisses. Exclusive to the Chelsea parlour are breakfast, brunch and lunch menus which I’m yet to try but every dish sounds and looks delicious. The Garden Pea Soup with seasonal vegetables and delicate blossoms looks pretty as a picture!
Situated downstairs is the Pink Peony Bar with tall plush pink stools seated around a pretty panelled bar area and the beautiful peony artwork as a backdrop. On their new menu is a range of decadent drinks from sparkling champagne to sumptuous cocktails, I’ll look forward to trying out one of Peggy’s signature pink cocktails garnished with delicate blossoms which looks so girly and gorgeous.
Also downstairs is yet another beautiful space in the form of the Chelsea Rose Room, which is the perfect size for events and larger groups. This room has a pale meadow green colour palette with ditsy floral wallpaper for an elegant vintage look. Although it may not have any real daylight, the bright white lighting and mirrored walls open up the area and make it feel extra light and airy, perfect for photos!
Even the washrooms are decorated to perfection with pastel pink candy striped walls, pops of teal decor, gorgeous gold hardware, right down to the little dress and tuxedo decals on the doors. Adorable.
I simply adored my visit to the new Chelsea Peggy Porschen parlour and all of it’s darling pink details. If you already love the charm of the original parlour which is beautiful and quaint, then you are sure to fall head over heels for this one too, it’s really on a whole other level of prettiness.
When can I move in?

Oh my, it looks like a nutcracker fairytale there! I’ve always wanted to visit one of Peggy’s cafe’s, it’s definitely still on my list as Chelsea is a little closer to me. I do hope they have some vegan additions to the menus that I could try.
Such gorgeous photos, I’m glad you had a fun time!

I’ve always wanted to visit one of Peggy’s cafes, but I’m so far from London and I never get the chance to go. It looks so dreamy and so beautiful. It looks like they’ve thought of everything, because every little detail is so perfect. Plus the cakes look so delicious!xx
