We may still be one day away from the magical month of December, but I feel like I’m the last person in the blogging world to create a Christmas gift guide (although I did create a wishlist here.) So hey, here it is! I had so much fun putting this gift guide together and I feel like I’ve got some total gems to share with you, so brace yourself for a lengthy post!
STILA MAGNIFICENT METALS EYESHADOW
Kicking things off with the Stila Magnificent Metals, a high impact glitter liquid eyeshadow, which feels comfortable to wear and has zero fallout (a glitter lovers heaven!) They’ve certainly caused a buzz in the beauty world and I couldn’t resist but to join in. I have the shade Ballet Baby which is a super pretty sparkly lilac pink! The Written In The Stars trio, would make an ideal gift for those starry eyed over these, plus they are perfect for adding a dash of sparkle to the festive season.
PAUL & JOE COMPACT HIGHLIGHTER
Paul & Joe products are truly those that will make your eyes light up like a real life heart eyed emoji. I’d been lusting after this pretty pink and white compact with gold detailing as it looked so special, and I finally caved and purchased the Secret D’or highlight to pop inside it. With most Paul & Joe products you do have to buy the packaging and the product separately, which can make it a little pricey, but it’s great if you do end up repurchasing as you then only have to fork out for the refill. It’s worth it for the dreamy packaging, even the boxes they come in are cute. I also have a couple of their lipstick cases, a pretty pink one and this powder blue one, I just adore them!
TED BAKER CANDLE*
A pink, rose scented candle from Ted Baker, aka. four of my favourite things combined into one! It has a really beautiful luxe scent, which combines bergamot and cassis with notes of opulent rose and vanilla. The pastel pink jar is so girly and gorgeous, I can’t wait to display this one on my dressing table.
TED BAKER PAINTED PORCELAIN BRUSH COLLECTION
As soon as I spotted these beautiful brushes, which were sold out online, I immediately made plans to track them down in store (no joke, I really am that cool). I was so pleased when I finally found a set as they are true princess brushes. I love the rose gold ridged handles and fluffy pink dipped bristles. Plus they come in a gorgeous pink jar!
JUVIA’S PLACE BRUSH SET
I also recently got this 5 piece light pink brush set from Juvia’s Place as I was browsing during black friday. Not only are the soft pink handles just lovely but I also love that the bristles are black, meaning I won’t be too scared to use them (trust me, that happens…). I also thought they were the perfect shapes for eye makeup, including the larger fluffy one which is ideal for setting the under-eye with powder.
CLAUDIA SCHIFFER MAKEUP
My favourite new brand/collection that was released during this year has definitely got to be this range from Claudia Schiffer, in collaboration with Art Deco Cosmetics. Not only is the packaging just gorgeous with the blush pink and gold details, but the products themselves (that I’ve tried) are also lovely. I have the blush in the shade Cherry Blossom which is a lovely pinky peach colour that adds a pretty natural flush to the cheeks. Take a peek at my review of the range here.
EMILE CORDON CASHMERE-ON LIP POT*
I was lucky enough to receive a couple of these pretty lip balms in the mail, and my gosh aren’t they beautiful! My favourite that I’ve featured here, is No.1 Lisa, which has notes of rosé champagne, fresh tea rose and strawberry leaves, and it’s full of lovely ingredients like evening primrose oil and vitamin E.
CHARLOTTE TILBURY LIPSTICKS*
Without a doubt one of my all time favourite lipsticks. Not only is the vintage style packaging stunning, but the formulas are just incredible. They apply with ease, feel lovely and smooth on the lips, are non-drying, and have an amazing wear-time. My favourite lipstick this year has been Valentine, a gorgeous nude pink, which I’ve almost worn completely down *sob*. If you, or someone you know, loves a classic neutral lipstick I’d highly recommend the Lip Archive* set which contains three bestsellers that were limited editions, including Between The Sheets, Miss Kensington (featured here) and Confession. For a smaller gift the Mini Lipstick Charms, are not only adorable but also a great way of trying out a few shades! I received these as a Christmas gift last year and they are so cute.
MAGNITONE VIBRA-SONIC CLEANSING BRUSH*
The award winning Magnitone Cleansing brush* instantly made the gift guide even though I’ve not long received mine, but I’ve only ever heard amazing things. It uses pulsed vibrations to gently deep clean and rid the skin of impurities, whilst boosting micro-circulation for more energised, healthier looking skin. I have the limited edition rose gold shade which of course makes it extra special and takes pride of place on my bathroom shelf.
I know a lot of beauty lovers that are dying to try this beauty sponge out, but are too scared it won’t live up to its price tag, or its more affordable dupes. But as someone who took that plunge about two years ago, I’ve rarely used anything else to apply my makeup since! It applies base products like no other and has a way of meshing foundation to the skin for a much more even and natural finish. The original Beauty Blender comes in a shade of hot pink, but I also spotted this pretty powder pink addition and had to have it! If you’re looking to gift a friend who you know already loves this product, then this gift set with four of the sponges, would be a perfect way to keep them stocked up.
I’m sure you’ve heard me harp on about the Chloe perfumes a few too many times, but they really do have some gorgeous scents. My all time favourite perfume is the original Chloe fragrance, which has a beautiful fresh and delicate rose scent. I also have the Love Story Eau Senselle* fragrance (featured here) which is also light and floral but with a powdery vanilla and sandalwood undertone, which gives it a more grown up romantic vibe. The Parisian style bottle is inspired by the love padlocks on the Pont des Arts bridge, isn’t it so cute and dainty!
YSL ROUGE VOLUPTÉ LIPSTICK
With possibly the most beautiful lipstick packaging on earth, the YSL Rouge Volupté lipsticks make a gorgeous gift for any beauty lover to cherish. The formula is super creamy and comfortable to wear, although I don’t find them hugely long lasting. I have No.1 Nude Beige, a lovely nude and No.7 Lingerie Pink, a gorgeous milky pink (featured here).
OLIVIA BURTON JEWELLERY*
If you’re a regular reader of my content, then you’ll also be well aware about my love for the jewellery brand Olivia Burton. I received the coin and bow necklace for Christmas last year and I’ve worn it so much that I never want to take it off, the design is so pretty and unique. I also have this silver and rose gold bow bracelet* which is super dainty and cute.
The brand is originally known for their gorgeous range of decorative watches and I adore my lace detail watch* that I own. I’m also heart-eyed over this one which has a pretty rose gold bow detail on the strap, and I adore this one with cute little bees inside the watch face. I also own the classic pink wonderland watch, which is a lovely one for those that like something a little more understated but still very pretty. Read more about my Olivia Burton pieces that I own here.
ANTHROPOLOGIE ROSE QUARTZ COASTER
After using this beautiful coaster as a prop for these photos, I just had to add it as a little extra into this gift guide. It’s such a gorgeous and unique piece that makes for such a lovely addition to any home.
