Summer has fully bloomed in Belgravia and of course the pink Peggy Porschen palace has been transformed into a gorgeous English orchard inspired wonderland! I took a little day trip to London this week and I couldn’t not pop over to see it in all of it’s summery glory.
So many pretty floral blooms decorate the exterior in a classic Peggy colour palette of pinks, purples and pastels with few pops of fuchsia and violet giving it a summery twist. The collection of wisteria, roses, peonies, lavender and meadow-like blossoms make for a true picture perfect entrance. Nestled amongst the display are sweet little strawberry emblems, watering cans, and the most adorable pastel beehives, which look so unique, like a little secret garden!
We had the perfect little spot outside in the sunshine, right amongst the beautiful floral blooms. I adore their vintage outdoor tables and chairs, they’re so dainty and sweet, not to mention perfect for flatlays!
Their current summer menu is blooming with edible flowers, seasonal berries and bee-utiful treats, which make for the loveliest summer collection. Although when everything is so cute it makes it difficult to decide what to order, and I’m indecisive at best haha. Their pink lemonade was so nice and refreshing in this warm weather!
From the Queen Bee collection comes the honey hued Beehive cupcake, which has a rich chocolate sponge with an organic English blossom honey centre, topped with swirls of smooth honey meringue buttercream, and a dash golden shimmer. Pure summery perfection! It’s definitely one of the cutest cupcakes designs ever, I love how the buttercream looks like a little beehive!
The Chocolate Raspberry Kiss cupcake had rich dark chocolate sponge filled with raspberry puree and was topped with chocolate cream cheese frosting, a fresh raspberry, sprinkles of pistachio and little raspberry crystals. The little details from the cute pink blossom to the pink metallic casing, are what makes the parlour so special, it’s always pure perfection!
Lemon drizzle cake is one of my favourite flavours so I had to have a little try of their Floral Lemon Loaf Cake. The mini cake had light lemon sponge, glazed with lilac lemon icing and scattered with lavender seeds and delicate edible flower petals. Lovely and fresh for a sweet summer treat!
The parlour’s interior is just as wonderful, with summer blossoms in abundance. Stocking their shelves were mini meringue kisses, marshmallow treats and adorable iced biscuits from their Queen Bee range.
It really is the perfect spot for some summery treats in the sunshine.
