I recently popped into the new flagship Too Faced store on Carnaby Street whilst I was in London, and oh myyy, I was so glad I did as it’s utterly gorgeous. It’s the brand’s first ever global stand-alone store, and naturally I’m so pleased they chose the UK to add a dash of pink prettiness to. I was fortune enough to get an invite to the opening party but I sadly couldn’t make it, so I knew I’d have to pay a little visit as soon as I could as I had a feeling it would be girly pink makeup heaven!
Inside is dressed up like a girly pink boudoir and believe me when I say that it’s all of the heart-eyed emojis! With pretty pink cabinets, gold accents, heart shaped mirrors, a golden birdcage style chair and an insane glittery pink Union Jack wall, as well as all of the rows upon rows of pretty pink makeup on display. Even the counter looks like a dream Barbie dollhouse and I can hardly deal with how cute it is!
The iconic Chocolate Bar eyeshadow palettes have their own candy themed station complete with a pink and white striped scalloped canopy, which you can see a little glimpse of in the reflection of the mirror above, and the sell-out Sweet Peach range is displayed inside an adorable giant peach counter.
Of course I had to take the opportunity to buy a couple of items whilst it was all staring me in the face screaming ‘buy me!’. I’d been eager to get my hands on the Peaches & Cream collection that was released in the US late last year but this store was their international debut! So I purchased the Peach Mist Setting Spray as well as the Primed & Peachy Primer, both of which have mattifying finishes which sound perfect for my skin type. I’ll definitely share my thoughts on them once I’ve tried them out!
What do you think of the Too Faced flagship Carnaby store?
